I just joined the DTube page and I have no issue with uploading a video neither with upvoting another one work.
I can write a comment but the "Add a comment" button doesn't work.
Do you know a solution or is it a common bug?
I can't comment on DTube...

I kinda solved it? I just spam clicked the "add a comment" button and the area around it and it worked, after 50 clicks.

Our systems are having a similar problem. When trying to add a comment on Dtube, the comment shows up as "Undefined DTube". It's challenging to spread love and harmony when the capability to express becomes limited. Lots of love to everyone!

It's a pain to do, but you can look up the video on Steemit and comment through Steemit rather than DTube.

Also using Chrome's Inspector's mobile simulation, I can make a comment. I noticed people were saying they could make a comment on a smartphone. Well if you want to do it on the desktop, that's another way to do it.

After talking with people in the DTube discord, I found out for me, it was a Google Chrome extension that was preventing me from commenting. If you're using Chrome, I would try disabling extensions one by one until you find out what is conflicting DTube.

It's still happening it seems. I've just joined Steemit and dtube and migrating across from YouTube. If you open Chrome console it shows errors after you click the "add a comment" button. I'm wondering if anyone has notified the devs / raised support ticket? seems like a pretty big issue considering the platform is designed for content creation. yep still happens, vivaldi here, turned off ublock also just to be sure. just sits there with spinning circle. dtube has a long way to go before it comes close to attracting yt users over. like where is large view mode (not broken full screen).

The solution, change the browser web navigator.
If you use Microsoft EDGE browser on PC, works.
If you use mobile device, works.

Are they required to save the comment in the blockchain before they show it?
That seems to be the case for votes, which seems like a really poor user experience to me.
Why don't they just send the message and show it locally to indicate the message has been sent.
You can always confirm that it was accepted by the blockchain later.
