Dtube video upload help

I've uploaded one video mpg, that didn't work so I went looking for help and found that 2 formats work best, mp4 and something else. The converter was taking way too long so I uploaded the mpg to YouTube and downloaded the mp4 from there. Uploaded the mp4 on dtube and it still isn't working. Any other helpful suggestions?
