Yay! DTube is back giving ol mate Buzzsteem a big ol tick.
I really want someone to put together a website or a list of all the witnesses and what they contribute to Planet Steem. As early adopters I feel like it's the job of all of us to flesh out this amazing (but sometimes super annoying) platform. I think a list of the witnesses and what they do would help us all make more informed decisions on who we are voting for. I imagine a list like that is super subjective, but still... so much happens behind the scenes that we're not aware of.
Sooooo.... I don't know my schedule or plans this weekend, I think there's a ninja thing on Saturday afternoon, and I'll have two girls to entertain, but if they're excited about sitting by the pool (which I am not excited about) then maybe we can have an in person interview? I'd love to talk about my own Steemadventures and @thefreshfive and all the projects I'm excited about but don't have time for...

@ashleykalila actually just published a list of the top 20 witnesses and their projects. It is not comprehensive, but it is helpful, as there are several in the top 20 that I didn't know actually contributed anything other than their Witness to Steem.

Like SirCork mentioned though, it's really hard to figure out who is in the top 20 because they built something essential back in the day, and who is working day-in and day-out... it's a tough one. This is a brilliant start though, and I'm so glad you linked it.

That's why I am working on a way bigger project that examines ALL the witnessed and their activities.
I want to really showcase them.

It's great to hear haejin's presence is shrinking because when the market starts going back up, people are just going to worship him like a god.
And we don't want that.
Keep pushing with your project, because it sounds like a good idea, but I'm still concerned about the Pinterest link dropping idea and how this will add value to the platform (you'll also need to figure out how to police abusers), but I'm sure all will be revealed in the whitepaper :-D
And BuzzSTEEM absolutely deserves these DTube votes, so great job DTube supporting content that matters.
