Dtube Real Talk: My Fight With Multiple Sclerosis

in dtube •  7 years ago

Hey friends,

So I like to keep it real on here when I can and I thought I would open up tonight about my struggle with MS and the current terrible decision I have to make between not treating my disease, continuing to treat it with illegal meds from Israel, or buy into the bullshit US pharmaceutical companies and the shots that they want me to take 3 times a week at $3,000 a month.

I was doing well on the Israeli medication, but was told that my neurologist would no longer see me if I didn't make an effort to take the shots. I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Meanwhile, while I am off the meds I was on, my MS worsens, and they refuse to do anything for the symptoms. They only care about slowing the progression of the disease, not my quality of life, and how I get by day-to-day. It's no wonder so many MS patients are depressed.

Anywho, this video isn't too long, and it gives you a little glimpse into my very personal world, and the issues I am having in it. Forever the realist yo's.

Hope you are having a great start to your weekend!

xx~Beth

Hey Beth. Thanks for sharing this. Someone very close to me passed a couple years ago with MS. He was a fighter. I first discovered the corruption from BIG PHARMA when I delved into Herbal Medicine after High School and my friend (now a naturopath) introduced me to a whole new natural world of healing. Have you ever consulted with a naturopath?

I have Dr Edward Ellis in New Hampshire who is a naturopath.

Western medicine as a streak of Dr Mengele in it. A few years from now everything will change.

This sucks! You are a smart person & will make your own decisions but I would not touch that shit. My experience with neurologists both professionally as a former surgical tech & as a caregiver for my dad who has Alzheimer’s is they are full of shit. They are corrupt to the core from my experience.

The last time I spoke to a neurologist it was after walking out of the office for being left to wait for 45 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start, with my dad who can barley function. He called me as I was driving home & I told him he was a drug dealing pill pushing piece of shit, & even if he meant well he was smart enough to know the shit pills he prescribed as a form of medicine is bullshit. Designed to prolong diseases with no intention of curing the underlying issues. His response was these are billion dollar corporations & he is doing his best in the system. I responded you are cashing huge paychecks at others expense & it’s not up to me to know if you really mean well, but from my perspective you are a shit person. I then asked him if he knew any good malpractice attorneys (told him not for him), & he gave me a reference to a good lawyer actually.

The sad thing is, he was the best neurologist I met & was still nothing better than a dirty pill pusher imo. The seizure medication & little Prozac my dad is on is better managed by a nurse practitioner who goes to his place & doesn’t try to sell more pills in a fucked up life at all costs way. Quality of life is where it’s at for me.

I think the more physical things you can do for your health the better. Have you tried any cbds or cannabis related medications? I’ve done very little research on MS but sounds like your instincts are correct to me on the shots. Obviously, don’t take my word for it, but I would seek as many different opinions as possible. The more we believe the medications we are using are good for us the more they help us, similarly, if we believe the medicine we are using won’t help us it has a much greater chance of not helping us. Been proven again & again.

I wish you much health & wisdom to trust your intuition about what is right for you. Sorry for the long winded response, but I felt very compelled to give my biased perspective. & I hate big pharma bs more than any other bs!

💚

I started with stomach problems, was put on acid blockers (PPI), quickly developed Type-1 Diabetes, which I suspect was caused by the drug. I did my own testing and figured out that I had T1D. Went to eight MD's who all rejected that I had T1D. Finally found a Functional Medicine Doctor, who can still prescribe, and she put me on insulin, and I'm doing much better. There is a story on You-tube of MD who had MS and was in wheel chair. She cured herself with nutrition. Over 100,000 Americans die each year from properly prescribed meds. I have spent the last year on you tube and web and learned a huge amount. I plan to post my story soon. You case is common.

good job and it helps. I think my mom struggled or struggles with MS. I love natural remedies.

Good. Follow I ok

Is there a website you can go to to order medication from overseas from Israel or wherever?

Yes. They've made it harder to get though. Last time I ran into a problem because my package got stuck in customs for 8 weeks.

Hi Beth,
My wife was diagnosed with MS and the "doctors" recommended the same pharmaceuticals. She chose a naturopath who found her to be low in progesterone. Daily application of a natural progesterone cream made from a Mexican Yam has all but eliminated her symptoms. Her "new" neurologists admits there are studies linking hormones to MS symptoms. Our lives would be very different if we followed "conventional wisdom". Good Luck, Ed

It would be more effective to treat the causes of your disease rather than the symtoms.
Please watch this video :

Wow omg I could not afford to live where you are that is ridiculously expensive, you got me thinking now about doing a video of my meds and the cost of healthcare here (thoughts?)

I think that's a great idea! Different perspectives are awesome!

wish you all the best... @peekbit

Have you ever looked into Stoicism? Even in dark times and difficult situations, we can learn and reflect on the true beauty of life and understand that we get to experience such wonders; life is worth living simply to enjoy the ride and see what happens. I wish the best for you :)
