Oh the humanity has been robbed and overtaxed by inflation schemes since fiat money was invented thousands of years ago. Satoshi comes up with a deflating currency by which the people get richer, rather than poorer all the time and they freak out, wonder why??
Deflation is great! No matter how much the MSM demonizes it because governments can't use for hiding taxation and funding wars.
With a deflating currency, people would only buy what they really, really need for the moment and save for the future, get richer in a stable way. The opposite of what we have now with people buying worthless plastic crap made by a slave workforce and dumping it everywhere messing with the planet and creating depressions and severe crisis every few years.

Haha, great video! Love your passion, it's fine to get angry about shit... after all there is plenty to get angry about in all corners of the world. Boomers are a bone of contention with me too, they took it all and now everyone younger than 50 will have to work until there 75... unless they manage to do something more exciting with their lives. This is what some people (mostly older people) really hate, the idea that something has come along that might make working a 40 hour week, 9-5 a thing of the past. Just because Dolly Parton was into it doesn't mean that we have to be. Keep ranting, this is the first video of yours I have seen and I will be back for more. Peace!

Yeah I mean I love my rents and all, but I am sick of hearing from them how much better we have it, and how we just don't want to work hard.
My dad got a job right out of high school at a factory and worked there for 35 years. Now, he ended up getting fucked over a bit by other boomers, but, he was still able to pull a pretty dece retirement, and now he is working again, but they are able to sock all that money away. Unless you have a state job, which are impossible to get unless you want to be a teacher and make peanuts, or a police officer and risk getting shot in the head just because you work that particular job, then VERY few jobs offer a retirement. Sure, some of them have 401k's which are bullshit because they are just literally a gamble. I would rather get my full pay than have to invest in Fiat.
What my parents seem to not understand though, is there will be NO retirement for us. NO SS, NO PAYOUTS, NADA. So they can keep on bitching while we work to pay for the SS that the government stole from them, but ultimately without us, they are SOL. At that point, they will either lose the social security that they put into, or the government will have to pay up.

Hah I had never heard of VICE coin either, now I am intrigued...
Oh yeah well of course the people that rely on the vast majority of the population for cheap labor are trying to paint an ugly picture of crypto! "We are eliminating jobs making bottle caps...something that a machine could surely and WILL surely do in the near future...the HORROR!!" Ridiculous. I am typically not a boomer basher, just because I was raised by two really responsible ones, who had no part in any of this bullshit, but I have felt pushed around a lot as a millennial lately, and this article just sent me over the edge with its level of snark.
I am not sure what is up with @dtube voting. There are a handful of people being upvoted as always, but the small group that I hang around have been left out to dry the last 4 days or so...not sure what's up with that. Meanwhile, 8 accounts McGee is still receiving a twice daily upvote from @dtube. I am appreciative of what I have earned so far, but it doesn't seem to matter how much I put into this platform, the upvotes are still incredibly inconsistent. I see that a few people have switched to @dlive, so I could give it a shot, but I don't know if I do anything quite exciting enough for that platform!

Annnnnddd.... upvoted (with my massive 0.02 vote but hey). Mankind's natural reaction towards the unknown or something new tends to be a negative and defensive response. That's what I seem to see in the criticism of crypto. Rather than "cool, how does that work?", you usually get someone holding up a crucifix and strings of garlic. I think government does have a bit of cause for fear because decentralization is not necessarily in "their" best interest (by their thinking). So fear mongering is the knee jerk response. Your arguments are sound mam.. And to be honest - for a moment when you stepped back from the camera I thought "Holy crap, she's gonna moon the camera" :) . Haha - I was wrong.

In NY Times defense... who even reads the NY Times or really any periodical anymore? Like, those old people who sit in libraries hoping someone will talk to them... that's it... there's no one else... so of course they're going to rag on our beloved way of the future. They don't understand it and that's fine, because we don't need any of them... all we need is some retailers willing to take the plunge, that's it. Everyone else gets left behind.

You don’t have the opportunities that the baby boomers dead they are the last generation who will retire with benefits and pensions and I’m a Gen X so I am right in the middle of it.
