It is true that it entails risks for physical integrity, but it also constitutes an excellent exercise to train our legs in a fun way, besides that it can bring us many benefits.

Skating in a general sense is a very healthy exercise, through which one works and trains both the body and the mind. Unless we are acquiring skill in their practice we are becoming more agile and we improve our balance, dividends that will be useful to us throughout our lives.
One of the most fun ways to skate is on the famous skateboard, which is also one of the most effective if you contemplate it as a physical exercise. Maybe we do not notice it for what it can entertain, but skateboarding for an hour allows you to burn between 500 and 600 calories, sometimes more, just as we can do with traditional aerobic exercises that for many are not so fun.
In addition to burning calories, the practice of skateboarding brings us other benefits related to the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and muscle development, such as the improvement of our strength, coordination, flexibility and endurance.
Also, if we practice it in groups, as it usually happens, it can be an activity that reinforces our social bonds.
In a more practical sense, another advantage of skateboarding is that it is an economic sport, practicable at any time and place only with a minimum of physical and material conditions, and also works as a means of transport for short distances.
Today there are many reasons why people start in sports: lose weight, stress, psychological problems or simply because we want to enjoy practicing it.
Sometimes life is very complicated and we all have our problems, although for each our problem is the most important, and we try to find solutions or, at least, we try to minimize it as much as possible.
Sport for me is an escape route. My favorite sport is the SkateBording. Thanks to this sport I was able to meet people who have a passion and love for what they do, I knew the meaning of the word friendship and I live every day as if it were the last, although I still have a long way to go.
Sport is already part of my daily and family life, for me it is a better way of life. There are days when you do not rest well, you get lazy ... But even so you go out to train, or to a test and, when you finish, you feel great.
