Hey Hey ! The Crypto markets are up and a lot of the altcoins are following suit. This is great news for those who are hodling and those who are currently trading in the markets. Even STEEM is up by over 10% and we are back in the 20cents range .. hoorayyy !
I was just searching on the web to see if there is any news which would have pump steem however I could not find much. I guess its just tagging along with the rise of BTC and people are dumping back into STEEM to purchase more taking the advantage of the rise in BTC and other altcoins.
Then I started being curious as to how many people are searching about STEEM instead of STEEMIT. Here are the results.

You can see that in countries like CHINA, a lot of people are just searching on Steemit and not Steem. I guess that there is more awareness on Steemit in comparison with just STEEM. However in other countries like the US and EU, you can find that more searches on STEEM and not just Steemit.
Also, next I wanted to see how popular is steemit.com in the global scale. And it looks like our friends in Korea has been visiting steemit.com a lot increasing the ranks of steemit.com in terms of most popular website.

I think a lot of people are using the platform a lot more and I don’t know the stats but I know a lot of people powering up and buying steem right now, so it may be that our community is resolidifying. :-). I’m hoping we can stay above 25 cents soon. I think it’s a good place to be now
