Hi Steemians,
For Christmas I bought Leaner a US Scratch-off Map that we could scratch off together everytime we visited a state. This week we got to Scratch off Wyoming! It was a super fun trip, we went to Jackson Hole for skiing! Jackson Hole has the steepest, and some of the most difficult slopes in the US. Highlights besides skiing include checking out a Robert Mangelsen art exhibit. He is a huge, iconic nature photographer and good friends with Jane Goodall. The snow, scenery and wildlife were all beautiful. We spent a lot of time playing games with family and hot tubbing :) I'm posting pictures of it as part of the #sevendaybnwphotochallenge this week. Check out my first two entries here:
Top of the Mountain
They served delicious waffles at the top of this mountain. They have no running water up there so they have to bring up all the mix and ingredients every morning on the tram. They serve them sandwich style. I had one with organic peanut butter and bacon. Yummm.
Boozy Lunch Break Drinks
They had a restaurant and bar called Handle Bar at the bottom of the slopes. We would stop there for lunch and warm up with hot alcoholic beverages. The one of the left was called Fire on the Mountain and was hot chocolate with orange liqueur, Kahlua, Fireball cinnamon whiskey and a tasty marshmallow as a garnish. The drink on the right was a hot toddy with cider, honey moonshine and a cinnamon stick.
We had a great time overall. We are blessed to be able to go on trips like this with people we care about.
