In this day and age, you never know what dangers are upon you the moment you walk out your door. Do you arm yourself for any possible danger, and if you do arm yourself what would choose to take with you? Well in this video you will see a young woman around 20 years of age go for a walk around 2 am. She was carrying a bat for her own protection. While walking home she was stopped by a Hagerstown police officer. Here is the video.

Tell me, what do you think of this stop? Would you choose a bat as the item to protect yourself? How did this young woman handle herself during this stop? I welcome all thoughts in the comment section down below. Normally I don’t give my opinion in these videos, but since this is my area, I don’t fault this young woman carrying a bat. The crime rate in Hagerstown is considerably higher than the national average across all communities in America from the largest to the smallest. Although, at 33 crimes per one thousand residents, it is not among the communities with the very highest crime rate.

However, The chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime in Hagerstown is 1 in 30.
