As always, I don't want to recommend what anyone should do with their money. Personally, I like holding precious metals. They're quite stable, and they tend to do well in crisis situations. They also tend to keep pace with inflation. They're a sort of bet against the US dollar and other fiat currencies, something like crypto.
Have you watched Mike Maloney's "Hidden Secrets of Money", or read his book "Guide to investing in gold and silver"? Some of the information will be old to you now, but I recommend watching them all. You'll get a better idea how precious metals fit into the picture.
