Lean Into The Emotions To Dissipate Them Like Bubbles

in dtube •  7 years ago

From the time we were little children, we've been told to stop feeling emotions, to stop being such a baby, to stop being so intense, to stop being too much. Whatever words were used, the gist of it was to stop feeling, because emotions are bad. In this video, I chat about how meditation has helped me in feeling my emotions, so they don't explode in a huge mess all over me all the time.

Getting kids have definitely, changed my view on emotions. When I grew up, I was not aloud to show my emotions. I lived with my dad, from 8 years old, because my parents was divorced. To show emotions was not his strength :-(
great video

Thanks!! Yeah, unfortunately, most men are taught from an early age not to show emotion, to man up, not to be a baby... It's insane.

Meditation is an amazing practice.
