moon recording from december 2017 using canon hotshot 530 200x zoom

just some video of the moon using a cheap wannabe Dslr canon hotshot 530hs at 200x on a vivatar tripod, I used the flexibility of the legs of the tripod to make the little position adjustments by pulling on and stressing them since the movement on it is actually pretty horrible, enough that its actually hard to position it let alone getting it to the position.

would definitely like to hear your opinions on if I should pursue astrophotography or not, and if so is it worth investing over a grand on a good tripod and mount? should I get an actual Dslr like the alphas from sony or something else? get a decent cassegrain or newtonian scope to shoot through? or maybe you think I should focus on something else cause there are plenty of astronomy photos and video being dumped online LOL,

also if the camera mentioned is not what you would suggest, please let me know, should maybe I be looking at a higher speed camera that does lots more photos per second so that it can be cleaned up with the registax or some other program to get rid of atmosphere turbulence?

anyway I will leave it at that as I have rambled on and put out one run on sentence after another long enough :)

Dude when you get a AZ EL mount your going to have so much more fun! Maybe I will make a quick vid of my telescope and put it up.

Luna almost appears to be camera shy when looking through the telescope. Moves much quicker than you would think.
Keep it up, don't be put off by the amount of other people posting astronomy photos and videos. The more the merrier, I say.
I especially love the contrast and crater definition of half Moon shots.
Here's one I found after a quick search.
