If one is into Steemit "for the longer term" (defined as "not a trader") in that s/he has confidence in the platform, then they shouldn't concern themselves too much about price swings. Let the free market continue with its day to day calibration of the price while we just focus on using the platform.
Many of us had bought or/and earned STEEM from when it was at $1.00 and lower. Yes, it would be very nice if the price of STEEM (and SBD) were to keep on rising, with absolutely no drops. But the crypto market is volatile and we should adapt to this.
