Today I'm going to review the Steemit social media platform in great detail. Keep in mind that I just started using Steemit about a week ago but I think this introduction will help a LOT of beginners out there. :)

Nice video - But with your reward settings, you are burning money, probably hundreds of dollar on this post alone!

Check out what I mean here: https://steemit.com/dtube/@theaustrianguy/db0silea

You will understand what I am talking about! If you see others making the same mistake, please tell them as well!
Greets ;)

Edit:/ Upvoted it for visibility!

Thanks for the tip, theaustrianguy. I had no idea. Just watched your video (plus upvoted) and that makes sense. I didn't even realize that the 100% power up did that. Also interesting to see how to get Steem at market price. Anyways, I'm still learning and thanks to people like you I'm learning fast :)

Great you took something out of it! :) Planning on posting useful videos like that on a regular basis, so watch out. Actually already posted a short one today!

I would like to say that I found you video on youtube and I think I am going to learn about steemit more today than I have been able to in the last two and a half months on this site thanks to your video.

Thanks so much for the feedback, @redsfallin. I'm glad to hear that. I plan to continue making videos like this to help us newbies as much as possible. In fact, I just posted another on the difference between 50/50 and 100% Power Up rewards: https://steemit.com/steemit/@brandonfrye/steemit-payout-options-explained-50-50-vs-power-up-100

Right on yea, I have covered most the basics already for the most part anyways... It is just the more hardcore computer knowledge I have to start getting down!

Though I am one month older than you here,I really enjoyed the video. Keep it up. :)

Great video, thank you. Keep up the great work. You are making a difference and helping build the Steemit community.

Thanks jr11, I've been very impressed with this platform and (maybe more) the community which surrounds it. I've never joined a social platform before and felt the love this much. Thanks for your comment and I'll continue to spread the word!

Thanks @brandonfrye I also messaged you on Twitter in addition to following you. Look forward to chatting and seeing more of your content.

Hi Brandonfrye,

Thank you for the great video, im a network marketing guy like yourself spending a small fortune on FB ads to promote my posts to my 10,000 or so followers on FB who never seen my content organically.

So like you i just came on here last week and im loving it already, thank you for clearing a few things up for me too, very helpful.

I must say the only channel that has earned me serious money to date without financial investment has to be LinkedIn, its great for niche marketing.

Well i've followed you because i find you work very informative, ive now got to create a D TUBE cheers for that to top !! Jeff.

brandon, great video.. upvoted, followed and resteemed.

Thanks Traderdad, I see you're also interested in trading and e-currencies. I followed back happily. Look forward to seeing your upcoming content! :)

Thanks for the helpfull video.

You're welcome. I was new only 5 days ago (guess I still am) so I know there's a little learning curve lol. One of the best places to look for help is the https://steemit.com/trending/steemit-help tag.

Nice and detailed video, learned some stuff from it!

Great article! Very well written and easy to read for Steem newbies.
It's a good article to share with friends on other social media to tell them about Steem. Much better than giving them the (obsolete) whitepaper.
Steem on!...

I learned several things from watching this video. You make good videos. I actually watched the whole thing, that's not normal for me. You knew more in 5 days then I have in 5 months. Cryptocurrency really confuses me, but I'm trying. Maybe your next video you can explain the process of cashing out for dollars. I think I could actually figure it out if you were the one that explained it. Now I'm off to steemtools.com to check some of those out. Thank you so much for this clear and precise video.

I watched your video to get started with Steemit. Thank you, it was helpfull. I will follow you and watch the other tutorials as well as soon as I have time...just started. Ciao

Great Video!!! It really helps having this type of thing for us newbies because there is a ton to learn here. Keep it up and Thank you!

very good

Hey man. Your the best. Learning a lot. Watching your videos now... All the best for you...

Thanks for this video, I just watched it on YouTube, and then found it here to comment on. I'm only very new to SteemIt, having only been using it for about 3 days now, but I've been using Minds.com (another blockchain-enabled social media site) for the last three months or so. Your video here was very helpful, and I'm still picking up new hints and tips as I learn the differences between Minds and Steem, so thanks for this.
