Today on Ask Cahlen I will be answering the question, "What is a Codependent Relationship?"
I have a lot of personal experience with Codependency, and I've mostly come out of my tendency to fall into it, so I'm glad to have the opportunity to share my thoughts on how to notice it in your relationships and what to do about it.

yea co-dependency is close to my heart as well, Cahlen - thanks for talking about it... and you are right - you gotta get out of focusing on "them" - it's really just a great way to hide your own problems under someone else's problems, i found - once you learn how to be "alone" or relying upon the Creator - you attract the right person. I think that's how you and I met is that I wrote a post about barbie and ken - and you commented on it - that was kind of about sicko relationships... and you were right - once I got healthy myself - I attracted a great guy into my life...

Liked your straight forward definition of co-dependency and how to solve the problem--work on your own health. Pretty amazing how sapped of energy one can feel if in a relationship in which they're compromising their own values.

And it's such an amazing feeling to finally be free of that constant drain. Glad you enjoyed my perspective on it.
