Hello fellow Stemians & DTubers,
This is basically an introduction of my growth as a poet. I read to you "Born to Electrify" from 'Born to Electrify" my chapbook published by Sadie Girl Press of Long Beach, CA. Then I read to you a poem that I had published in Rattle Issue #52 "The Draft of A Messiah" last year. "The Draft of A Messiah" is where I left off in writing in regards to poetry; it is the stepping stone of what is to come from me as a poet.
I hope to hear your response, feedback, and if you follow me I'll follow you back. I'll try my hardest to be an active follower to your curation contributions or author posts. Drop me a line if you really want me to read a certain post or video you've worked hard on. I'll put it on my priority list when I'm on here.
Let's get to know each other, leave feedback on my #introduceyourself and I'll respond to yours.
You can always support my writing on Steemit or Dtube but I also have a website camposmusing.com
"Born to Electrify" is basically the starter pack of how I transitioned as a poet to a new level of self-awareness, growth, & maturity
always pushing the boundaries of what makes me uncomfortable in order to practice therapeutic healing.
Thank you!

i agree that for a poet (although not practiced enough myself), stagnation is never a good thing, you must always push further; as we are not who we were yesterday :)

You are well practiced for even engaging with the craft and that within itself: the time you devote to getting to know yourself, your voice, and tone will bring growth and you will quickly pound at the page's flesh to become the poet you wish to be. I agree, the hardest part with writing for me is competing with myself, because always pushing the boundaries on what you're uncomfortable writing about is hard especially when it is a subject very close to you. Thank you for swinging by! If you ever get yourself in a writer's bloc I suggest reading lightly some classic poets or even poets that you can still find performing or publishing today that are close to your age.

The advice resonates with me because mastering the self for any long duration is definitely a complex undertaking. I would recommend reading/listening to Carl Jung, to help with internal growth.
