Encourage Other Creators | Another Use for Up-Vote Bots

I truly enjoy encouraging other creators and today I want to talk about another use for up-vote bots that perhaps you haven't considered. I hope you enjoy the video.

With Gratitude,
Captain Bob

Thanks for this post!

Great video. Great advice. You are one of the most encouraging people I have met on steemit. Keep up all the good work

Thank you man! Always appreciate your support and feedback.

Thank you for being exactly who you are all the time. Kind. Always encouraging and helping others. Hope you are blessed as much as you bless others!

I feel grossly unqualified to receive a compliment like that, but I thank you very much for saying it. You and Bo have become great friends and I look forward to all the fun we will have sharing our experiences on the blockchain :) Thank you again. I am truly humbled.

It's almost like you're reading my mind Skipper. I think it's like most other things, in that you only get out of it what you put into it. There's a steep learning curve here but I like the challenge. Thanks for your advice and encouragement.

Thanks man! Glad it was speaking to you :)

Now I am even more eager to build my account so I can have some steem so I can play with the bots lol
There sure seems to be an endless number of things to do on the site

Yeah there are so many things to learn and do around here. Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow! I never thought about this method!!! This is an awesome idea/way to use the voting bots, thanks Cap'n!!

Yeah man! Cool way to potentially reward some good content! Thanks for watching.

I have never done upvote bots but sounds like a must try. Thanks for the advice and encouragement.

Yes, check them out sometime and perhaps you'll find a place where they fit in to your strategy to encourage other creators out there.

What a fantastic idea. The thought had never even occurred to me before watching this video. I've been thinking of ways to support this group of creators I have in mind, but this may well be it.

Thank you for this tip!

Yeah man! Glad it was helpful!

I got you ;) 29404153-B7FE-4FC7-BA86-1FE5FF73B6C3.jpeg

Thanks man!

Good idea as always, Cap :) encourage through words, upvoted and bots! :)

Just using a tool for the good than for selfish intents. That's a sustainable loop for community growth. Great mechanic to consider if you have the avenue to give this way

I certainly am a fan of using it to help others and believe it would be good for community growth as well. Thank you for watching.

What a great video :) I am new to all this and so have a lot to learn. You explain things really well. I'll check out the bots but look forward to seeing you make a video on them :)

Thanks for watching and I'm glad it was helpful ;)

Hey @captainbob

When I was a user of the dreaded bots, I'd send @lovejuice to posts I like - probably send 200/300 little boosts out to people.

It's a nice touch as the bot says who it's from, and as you say, conserves your SP - even though I'd vote on the post anyway.

Good luck!

Thinking about using upvote bots this way doesn’t make them look so evil at all. I already sometimes was in this situation that you mentioned. Where I ran out of voting power or my vote simply wasn’t that much worth what I actually wanted to support a creator with. Very interesting. I will think about that...

I think it is a good way to make use of the bots and helps spread the love to new creators, etc. Let me know as you think more about it what your thoughts are as I truly respect your opinion.

Talk about integrity! I just watched the intro vid of someone where you did exactly the thing you describe here... Very cool, @captainbob. I appreciate your shiny example.

Thanks @erikaharris. Perhaps you will be inspired to do something similar for someone out there.

Using bots for other content creators is Genius... You've given me another way to look at and using bots, thanks, Bob.

Thank you! I hope you can make use of it and spread the love :)

Boss you've got percentage top beautiful video. Brilliant recommendation. You're one of the most encouraging human beings i have met on steemit. Maintain up all the correct paintings.

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the content!

Well come sir

With all due respect, I think that if you want to encourage creators, it is easier, cheaper and much more effective to resteem.
If I had to choose between receiving a few cents vs. presenting my content to a new audience, I'd take the second option.
(BTW, your mic is perfect).
Thanks for your video.

I think the resteem is also a great tool, however, in my practice, I don't usually like to resteem more than two or so posts as I don't want my resteems to bury my own content. People often get frustrated if they go to my page and have to wade through a whole list of resteems to get to my content, etc. Thank you on the mic! It's a Rode Videomic Pro + and I have been very happy with it.

Thanks for supporting newcomers.

bots aren't a very smart thing to use that's how you can get your Steemit account banned and that's why if you make more that one account for Steemit then you might get denied for the community

Upvote bots are an accepted and legitimate function used on the blockchain, so I'm unsure what you mean. Just have a look at steembottracker.com and you can see some of the things available.
