I saw a video by @marketingmonk about hosting @dtube videos but I just wanted to know if it's possible to do this on a non-Windows system?

I have a server (no hard drives at present, they will be acquired later when I'm ready to start) but being a noob I am trying to find out as much as I can about hosting files (trying to create a CDN mainly for small businesses based in my City) that will be distributed and wanted to later help to take the load so DTube can load faster etc.

I would either be using a Windows or Linux based server OS so would the WebTorrent application work with any Linux Distros? Or is Windows required for it?
