Watch Testing DTube with a 4K Video - Exclusive Steemit Video Platform video on DTube

Hi, I made this clip to test the new video service created for Steemit users in 4K. From what I've seen so far, uploads are going great, much faster than other video hosting sites. I am very happy because someone created this thing, a place we do not need to depend on others and their policy to upload our video creations. You can also use the platform very easily here https://dtube.video/

You can find the original post here where this amazing guy created this and explain how it works https://steemit.com/video/@heimindanger/introducing-dtube-a-decentralized-video-platform-using-steem-and-ipfs

Video shots where taken in Baia Mare (Romania) with Samsung S7 EDGE testing a new camera app with 100MB/s bitrate and edited in Premiere CC. It was almost night and I force iso up to 640.
Song used in video is The Escape - Per Kiilstofte

Thanks for the testing, I didn't take the time to try 4k considering I am on a shitty connection. Indeed it is buffering a lot for me.

Was my pleasure, it is working but it buffer sometimes but i think this will become the new place for people who want to upload with the best quality possible. You make amazing work @heimindanger for the entire community. Thank you for doing this.

Here in Romania we have 1G download and 500mb upload all the time :D

Nice post...Following you for more.

Nice ! Unfortunately i have a lot buffering, I think is to early for a 4k video on DTube :D

Yes you have perfectly right it is to much but they make amazing work. I just want to test it to see if it is working even my pc can't handle when i play the file from my hdd:)

Is funny you having Samsung S7 EDGE but a PC who can't handle the video :))

My pc was a monster, i buy it 2 or 3 years ago for video editing, it has 5 HDD in it 32 GB but it is old, it can't compete with new technology even that is a phone.

32 gb ram???

As a fellow Romanian content creator I hope you keep on testing with 4K filming - I don't even have a 4K capable screen yet - even though dtube might be a bit too young for it :)

I will test but after some updates or I will lower the bitrate. I think internet can't handle so much bitrate. I will convert the next videos to be not so big:)

by the way @cgame, @stefanonsense is my buddy too :)

Ok man, i will remember:)
