Here's a couple effects that you can add to your audio records or have active while you record voice overs straight to tracks in Resolve 16. Noise reduction reduces background noise below a threshold while Dialog processor is actually 6 effects in one that aim to even the audio out with a compressor, remove 's' sounds with the De-esser, and more. (These can each be toggled on and off individually if you desire)
