Nice Clare!

I totally agree. Not only does Social Media totally narrow the view on "acceptable" art.. but the constant dopamine hits that social media provide us with endless entertainment... which leaves us with little time to daydream and therefore create.

I'd argue that buy trying to sell art you inherently change the reasons for creating it - I think it's better to do what you want to do, sit with it, enjoy it, and then after a time if you want to move it on then go for it.

Thank you so much for your great comment, @ninjavideo! Yes - you got me thinking about another blog subject - how it's about us tending to the soil rather than the plants; plants (and art) will grow well if the soil that they're growing in is kept clean and full of goodness - I think people assume that you can just get rich without any additional effort, if you make art - but so much goes into maintaining healthy 'earth' for it to grow from... 🙏😊🌞🌈
