My second English lesson ☺ Comedy Open Mic Round 27

in dtube •  6 years ago

This is my first entry for @comedyopenmic. ☺

This is funny because my wife is an English teacher and she always corrects me when I speak English. In the video you will understand all the mistakes I do. My problem is I can't remember everything about English and maybe my wife is too strict. lol

She is also on steemit and her username is @steemibaby , she seems serious but she is a very good person and we always spend a good time together laughing about things, we also like to watch comedy shows and comedy movies. Even my baby participated here. ☺

Thanks for watching, I hope it will make you at least smile. ☺

But I'm sure that I improved a lot since I joined @dtube ,especially the interviews helped me a lot when I did them with native speakers for our community @dcooperation. ☺

English is hard. I taught in Russia for a while. Russian makes much more sense, at least in terms of pronunciation. 'Why the hell they write "o"?' – exactly!

Perfect and simple tenses are a bit more complicated. Kind of like imperfective and perfective in Russian I suppose? You might be interested to learn that people in Scotland get that wrong all the time, particularly did vs done and saw vs seen. For example, you'll often hear things like I done it yesterday or I seen him over there. So don't worry too much if you get mixed up!

Yeah, I don't usually worry when I'm alone, but my wife is really strict and she always corrects me, but I like it, I like to learn, I like to talk correctly. I never visited English courses or something, I learned English by myself because I knew from my childhood that it's an importante language to know and now I'm profiting from that by growing in steem. It's always good to be close to the world. ☺

Really funny and entertaining you both ! Haha and teaching :D i am doing the same mistakes and I am glad that you got the B- ;) so my chance is also near to get this mark :P
I would love to see more of this kind of videos :)

In a relation there are many compromises but also many many corrections of the other one. And adults are not learning so easily anymore.. Thihi that reminds me of my relationship. My gf is always correcting me and I never learn from it lol

Yeah, that was fun, I'm glad you like it. I will try to make more video lessons like this one to share the knowledge with funny form. lol ☺

What a great video! I loved it 😍😍😍

Thanks, I'm glad you watched it. ☺

Welcome to comedyopenmic @clixmoney. I enjoyed this video. As English is your second language, I think you speak it pretty well.

Looking forward to future entries from you. Your baby's very cute, btw.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it, I do my best to speak correctly, but it's fun sometimes to make mistakes. lol ☺

@clixmoney, it was a very funny video.

Correct, thanks :)

Make sure you keep your baby in the next videos! I laugh the most when he try to make you shut up putting his hand on your mouth!
nice video! :)

Thanks for the comment, I will try to keep him in the video next time. I'm glad you like the video. ☺

I doubt if you come far in the open mic contest (you said that in the video that you are participating in that contest) but maybe you have more luck in Comedy Open Mic ;) welcome to the community!

Thanks.:)

Yeah, I said open mic, I will be careful next time, I just was nervous, when my wife is next to me and I speak English I'm always nervous and that's why I said that. But anyway if I will make such mistake again, I will record the video again and edit there. Thanks for noticing that and telling me. The monkey will improve and eat more bananas. ☺

Very funny video, the baby seems very interested in what mom and dad have to say.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.Yes he is interested to be in the video as well. :)
