Alternative to Facebook - An Interview with Kingsley Edwards of Flote.app

in dtube •  5 years ago  (edited)

Hi Steem Fam!

Today I sat down with Kingsley Edwards, the CEO of Flote.app - which is an up and coming new social platform that offers an alternative to sites like Facebook. Between trust for facebook dwindling, rampant de-monetization and shadow banning on other platforms, and a growing awareness of social media security - people are starting to look for an alternative.

In this interview - we chat about:

🔷What Flote is, and what their inspiration was to build the platform.
🔷How Flote is different and what they are offering both content creators and consumers that will improve their social media experience.
🔷Their plans for incorporating ads into the platform and what that means for monetization.
🔷Their roadmap for development - including increased crypto integration and additional features.
🔷And much more!

I really hope you guys enjoy this interview - and don't forget to come find us on Flote!

Thanks for sharing alternatives to major social media. Much appreciated.

goood video

Greetings appreciated @coruscate.

This is great news. The incorporation of new apps to all blockchains is an unstoppable process and the creativity of its developers is put to the test every day since many could affirm that: "everything is done", then develop new apps without incurring a simple copycat of something That already exists is a major challenge.

The interface offered by Flote seemed very pleasant. The fact that it allows monetizing will represent its superiority over centralized social networks.

Since they offer live streams, I hope their coding is so great that it allows you to control the latency periods to offer a smooth experience.

Have you tried the live broadcasts with Flote? How has your experience been?

Thanks for sharing.

All best, Piotr.
