Why The Silk Road Case Matters - An Interview with Ross Ulbricht's Mom

Hi Steem Fam!

I had the pleasure of rooming with Lyn Ulbricht at World Crypto Con and on the last day - we decided to sit down for a casual chat over coffee in our room and talk about Ross.

In this interview with Lyn Ulbricht, we quickly cover what the Silk Road is, and the story of Ross’ sentencing - but we then move into discussing why his case matters - and why every American should care about the outcome.

Lyn and I discuss the eroding freedoms and how our criminal justice system has let us down. The fact is - if this can happen to Ross (a non-violent first time offender) then it could happen to anyone.

We’re not supposed to be prisoned or condemned to die for our philosophical or political beliefs in the United States. This is not supposed to happen here.

Lyn also goes over in detail how the Silk Road case violates the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th amendments.

    Lyn is working so strong on this situation with Ross. I had the good opportunity to meet with her myself back in August in Toronto. Really nice to offer my support as well. Hopefully one day this situation could be solved. Thanks so much for sharing as well. Highly appreciated!

    This is a Great Cause I believe everybody from STEEM should be supporting this Lady and her Son What the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Did to this Man is Unacceptable. With the Clandestine Operations, these Clowns in America are Performing.

    We met this Lady in Person at the Futurist 2019 Conference in Toronto Ontario, Canada. No Mother ever deserves what they did to this Lady.

    Wow @coruscate! Love that you are doing this. Men like Ross will be written about for centuries and are the true sacrificers against the current system. I hope, with the help of great creators like you, more awareness is created around his case for freedom

                you are obviously beautiful on the outside but your inner beauty really shines through your work sometimes. Lyn Ulbricht is an amazing woman and very articulate.
