What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, in this video I talk about winter driving complexities and how we managed to get our car unstuck from the snow in an unshoveled driveway without needing to call a tow truck.
Yesterday we headed up to our friends place to pick up a load of our stuff stored there. We didn't quite make it getting stuck in the snow about half way down their driveway. Perfectly wrong type of snow, the wet heavy stuff, completely built up and high centered the car.
First we had to shovel out from under the car so that the weight of the vehicles was not sitting on the snow. Then I used my all weather floor mats in front of the front tires to get a little traction and move forward up onto the mats to further clear out from under the car. Then in one good go with me pushing we backed the car out of the driveway, we had already plowed the path clear behind us on our way in and the build up of snow from under the car did not occur again.
Always remember to be prepared in winter driving conditions, shovel, gloves, and patience!

The snow isn’t so bad now starting to melt but we did get stuck in the driveway that day. Perfectly wrong type of snow being wet and heavy the car got high centred. I rather enjoyed the snow overall since there was none otherwise all winter!
