As time goes by Ireland is starting to move from a banana republic into a totalitarian state.
Our elected officials seem to be more concerned with the interests of the European Union than Ireland and the Irish people.
This needs to change and it's becoming harder and harder to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to whats going on.
I Dream Of A Country Worth Living In, Where Ireland's Best Interest Comes First And Foremost, Before The Interest Of Global European Elites "WE ARE THE NATIONAL PARTY"
Hope you enjoy
🇮🇪 Throughout Europe and the world there is growing, energised resistance to the politics of globalisation.
🇮🇪 Concerns about mass-immigration, loss of identity, lack of job security, the hollowing out of the middle class, the decay of social values. 🇮🇪
🇮🇪 A growing constituency of ordinary people are unrepresented by the political establish 🇮🇪

you're right with a lot of this. Thats what happens when you let primary school teachers run the country. Europe has a lot of benefits for us but we still need to hold our our corner and stick with rules that suit our unique country. They need businessmen in the Dail to run the country properly. If Micheal O'Leary was in charge of health with the budget that they have, there would be no waiting lists and total efficiency. You couldnt let him in charge of foreign affairs but you need the right people in the right jobs.
I't's not just the European elites, it is the same in Ireland with the wealthy and the bankers. If you have enough money you can do what you like for the most part.

I think that 'Dream' is the operative word in the above statement. National governments have no real power, they just rubber stamp legislation handed down from Europe. There's no way you'd get a vote for Irexit, and even if you did, they'd just repeat the referendum 'til they got the answer they wanted.
Romantic ireland's dead and gone...................

Under 18, well that explains a lot. I was fiercely nationalist at that age myself, manning the barricades and fighting the good fight. Then I grew up.
I have to admire your optimism, but I fear the flame of freedom is quickly extinguished once the realities of (political) life are brought to bear.

The majority of National Party members are below the age of 18, so we may NOW!! live is a corrupt and forlorn society. Because of that fact I truly believe that our day will come, to liberate Ireland from the hands of the globalists. The flame of freedom still burns in the hearts of true Irish patriots.
