(Solved) Trouble Uploading to DTube

(Update) I was able to get the video to upload finally but I honestly don't know what was causing the issue before though. I reduced the file size again from 600MB to 300MB to 280MB and it finally worked. Maybe I just got lucky.

Hello everyone! I'm super new to Steemit/DTube and so far I love it here. I haven't done much here yet, but this is the place to be for sure. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about how all this works, but I feel like it can be a bit overwhelming at times. There's still so much I don't know yet, but anyways to the point. I'm having some issues uploading 1 specific video to DTube. I have tried to upload it 3 different times with no luck. I read something about the file needing to be under 1GB in size, but my file is only 360MB. I upload my file and add the snap/thumbnail then lastly the description and hit submit, but I just get an error telling me to "upload a video before submitting". Do I need to just trash the video and move on to another video or is DTube just not cooperating right now?

I'll add some pictures too but it gets stuck at "Adding Source to IPFS" "Creating Sprite" (I prefer Coka-Cola lol jk) and "Adding Sprite to IPFS"

Also, sorry if this question has been asked too many times already.

    Hey buddy, just seeing this now and I'm having a similar issue. It uploads fine but during the "Creating Sprite" and "Adding Sprite to IPFS" section, it just stops uploading, without an error message.

    I'm still working on a solution and if I find one I will post it here. Good luck to you, and did you manage to find a solution?

      Maybe this is ri-donk-ulous but I typed in 4 hashtags, uploaded the snap, and then clicked Sumbit ...and it worked. Don't know if this will help you, but my videos are working now. Best of luck to you

        Thanks for the tips! If i have anymore issues i will give them a try. As for my original post, i never really found a solution for the failed uploads, but now that DTube has released the 0.7 update i haven't had anymore issues. Maybe they just needed to work out some bugs =)
