That was incredibly lucky that the person that found it was so kind. Last year my wife and I found a bag on the side of the road that didn't look like it should be there. We picked it up and called the owner only to find out that the man who owned the bag had his car broken into a few blocks away. We found a piece of info that had a number and were able to call him. He showed up later that night and looked into the bag to find a specialty hearing device (that would have cost him a lot to replace) and possibly more importantly a picture of him and his daughter from the event they attended (it was one of those photos you get from an event that would be impossible to replace) he had just taken it that weekend with his young daughter that he doesn't see often.
