I know we are in Beta here at Steemit, but I hope they can step up at fixing the serious buffering problem that many of us experience on D Tube. However I do manage to get through some of the videos it can be frustrating!

DTube is a different application than Steemit with a different team of developers, both apps connect to the same blockchain (STEEM) but they only share the text content not images or video. However, DTube is also Beta software and you are correct in pointing out that sometimes there are buffering issues for the reasons that @schrosct mentioned (which has more to do with the connection to the IPFS nodes to your local computer than with the DTube software).

They use IPFS as a backend. People can help by running their own IPFS node and caching the videos to their node. This should increase the robustness of the file. Currently they seem to rely on public gateways for serving videos to the general public which can be unreliable since they don't control them.
I try to watch each video through my node so that it can help others.
Edit: For example only 3 machines hold the source video and 4 hold the 420p as of right now. I'm one of each of those.

First, thanks for your time! I'm sorry I couldn't reply sooner, but I was kinda tied up.

Onto the topic at hand, If you were able to be objective, you would understand there is a good possibility that there was disruption, not in the sense that they hacked all our voting machines and put whoever they wanted in to office, but in the sense of spreading an opposition strategy, after all, even the best malware requires a little social engineering to get it's seed.

Russia has been involved in a dozen or so foreign elections, and they did the same kinds of things, just with different technology as the tool, what makes you think they wouldn't target a SUPER POWER? Seems like you've never faced the wraith of a skiddie. Script Kiddies will use their tools against whatever is the best target, and geopolitically, why would that NOT be the country whose currency is the global backing currency?

Also, you didn't make a point about that, you immediately assumed that I believed the rainbow came out of obama's ass after a rainy presidency before him. You want to know when my problems arose with Obama? DAY FUCKING ONE, when he had promised to legally address the most voted on topics on that change website or whatever it was. The top response was about legal weed growing the us economy, his answer was pretty much "Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha..... no. Next!"

Well I guess that's the thing with conspiracy theorists, they commit to an idea as it were a religion, so there's no point in trying to prove or disprove their so called "facts" since the result is the same. How do you even interact with people like that?

What I find baffling is that yet again we have "evidence" that in the White House nobody seems to know what they're doing. And that's dangerous, because if and when they do malicious stuff, you're used to blame it on their incompetence.
