Venezuelans often use a specific word to refer to things or people they like very much, this word is:

Chévere

This word doesn't have a translation since it is proper of this country and simply evokes that the subject or thing is pretty cool or they like it very much by diverse factors. This is why I have decided to unite the English language and Spanish in this little exercise:

  • You're chévere = You're a pretty nice person.
  • I'm chévere = I'm a pretty cool person.
  • This is chévere = I like this thing or situation
  • We're chévere = We're pretty friendly
  • Summer is chévere = I like the summer (for some reason)

This is it! Please let me know your thoughts about this, below in the comment section. I've been thinking maybe about do a Speaking Spanish challenge... What do you think about it?. Thank you so much for watching, spread the word if you liked it. See you next week.

¡Chao, chao!

Muy buen post.

  • Aun más en alusion a la cantidad hablahispana que esta participando en esta maravillosa red, ademas debo destacar que mi gente venezolana esta dando mucho de que hablar con nuestro lenguaje castellano; ya que la mayor parte de miembros hbla Inglés me parece genial el intercambio de lenguaje.

🇻🇪 viva venezuela y latino america 🇻🇪 y las lenguas. !Saludos y abrazos a todas las naciones¡.

Explaining things about Spanish to someone is difficult for me, because for us it's super simple but there are some things that even cost us.

We don't say, "I'm hungry", we say "Ando con la Leona" or "Tengo Filo" but everything translates into "I'm hungry".

Nice Job W.
