I think its a very good decission of d.tube to not let everyone vote for everything, so people making good content get rewarded for their content. Its not like on youtube, where the shitty content is allways trending.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    I'm glad that it has some real value for an upvote. Unlike some of the other socials where the upvote supposedly helps you in the algorithm, but how do we really know?
