3 STREET FOODS WORTH TRYING in HANOI'S OLD QUARTER | VIETNAM STREET FOOD

As a visitor to Vietnam, you hear a lot about street food you have to try: banh mi sandwiches, bun cha, pork skewers, and Pho noodles. Street food in Vietnam is very diverse and can fill any appetite if you know where to look.
In this video, we tried street food at 3 different very popular places around Hanoi city's Old Quarter, as recommended by local Vietnamese online. These are not ranked in any particular order.
Trip Advisor is a great place to get tons of info about the best places to eat in any city, but the content is mainly geared towards tourists looking for the "best of the best" in any category to enrichen their traveling experiences, which is a totally normal thing to do.
But so many local eateries and little alley stalls go unnoticed and never make it to Trip Advisor because they don't get any coverage by foreigners visiting Vietnam. The language barrier is most-likely the main reason why.
My Vietnamese girlfriend has been incredibly amazing, researching Vietnamese Facebook groups and Instagram accounts to get the most well-rounded opinions by local Vietnamese about food spots wherever we go.
On this day, we chose to eat at 3 random places that weren't the typical banh mi sandwich or Pho noodle recommendations. These are your lesser-known eats that many visitors probably pass by and miss completely.
