No question, Ripple is a danger to Bitcoin itself.
That being said, I'll go out on a limb and project that XRP adoption can only help the crypto space as newcomers learn to use and become comfortable with digital currencies, whatever they may be.
I do not own any Ripple, but I'd be stupid to say I wish I hadn't bought some when it was less than a penny back in 2016.

I find Jeff's crypto videos less useful nowadays. He's pulling us in the direction of BCash and commonly talking Bitcoin down. His behavior has become pretty unstable, perhaps being rich comes with stresses. In any case he seems mainly about profits, which have never been my main motivator.

I was just watching this video about 5 minutea ago and I agree with dollar vigilante 100%! Its a shame that we, as a global people cant have anything without the government poking their noses in it. The one good thing is that they cant increase the 21 million BTC and if they could BTC would go to zero. The bitcoin transaction fee used to be completely free when you make payment of over 0.01 BTC. It should still apply to the BCH. I do not know why people have to pay the transaction fee anyway. Just like the crazy US stock market there isn't much real data to invest on in the crypto world. You have to plug your nose and jump on what is trending. In and out. Lots of $ can be made with a few hours of study to get accounts set up, fund them, and start trading. I've researched a few coin day traders who are doing well so tried it myself. Just using a basic trending method of buying and selling I'm averaging about 8% gain per day. Don't buy some douchebags course, watch a few free videos and you will know enough.
