This bear market has been long and brutal, but during what has been a cold winter, Steemit has been growing, evolving, and bringing real value to users on a daily bases.
I woke up today only to realize that just how many UI/UX upgrades have been made across the blockchain: Steemit.com, D.tube, SteemMonsters. At every level, accessing and using Steem has become easier and more intuitive.
It's wonderful to see that although prices are down, innovation and building is Way way up. The Steem ecosystem has positioned itself nicely for the next big wave of adoption, whenever it may come.
thank you for your time and attention, see you in the comments!

Interesting points of view for me as a newcomer.
I think steemit is amazing, awesome, but so much not even trying to live up to its potential (maybe on purpose, maybe just because owners have other things to do and don't care that much if new people come in, find things understandable and stay or not?).
I must say that I am a bit surprised that a huge platform like steemit don't care to make all parts of the page self explanatory with a little explaining text or video link in each "techy part" of the site so that new users don't have to google or go to some FAQ part of the site or article each time something on the site is cryptic.
I'm sure that they could easily get volunteers to do a great job with that.
But I'll keep hanging around and trying the site out a bit I think and see where things go and see if I manage to build a following where it feels more fun and meaningful to post because people get something out of my posts and I really hope that I'll see the site live up to t's potential and become even more awesome and user friendly. :)
