RIP to the teacher DIlla. He definitely spawned a whole sub genre of hip hop. There wouldn't be certain art forms today without him.

    Absolutely! I really dig artist that are influenced by Dilla without sounding like a carbon copy.
    you can totally hear the influence of Pete Rock, Diamond D, Preemo and RZA in some of Dilla's work but he always added his sonic signature to what he did.
