Santiago (From The Wills Session) - Patreon Edition

A Duet with Leslie Wills - Santiago. I was really glad to work with this Texas legend. She is from the Bob Wills Family

That's not the only musician from a legacy on this song, kinda strange, I didn't think of this ahead, just looking for the best fit for the song... but also another great musician on Cello http://www.michaelronstadt.com from the Linda Ronstadt Family. Steve Taylor is on Cello in the video, he worked on the string section also.

EP only on bandcamp for just $2 listen in your band camp app or download

I used to think the world was round
Now I don’t know that it’s true
walked a (for miles - this variation) line no turning back
and I can’t get back to you

There was a girl she was a carpenter
built another ark
now there's nowhere left to go
so she floods another heart

I thought she’d let me see the world I’ve never known
let me rest with nowhere left I’d want to go
let me walk her down the road to Santiago
but I never thought she’d let me go

Once I knew that you were the one, now I don’t know what to do
Our love was just a tender spark now I’m burning down for you

There was a boy he was a sailor
took a journey in the dark
but for him the wind wouldn’t blow
so he dashed against the rocks

I thought I’d let him see a world i’ve never shown
and finally rest with nowhere else he’d want to go
let me walk me down the isle to Santiago
but I never thought I’d let him go

There was a hope when I was young
that a debt of love was due
that someone owed or at least could loan
me a heart when they were through

There was a girl she was a fable
a fairy in the trees

there was a boy
his magic was able to lure her from the trees

I thought you’d let me see the world but not alone
Let me rest inside this garden we had sewn
I always knew you’d find the way to Santiago
but I always thought you’d let me go

Nice track @ezravan ! Good to put it on Musicoin as well. Check this: Below's an article with some thorough info into Musicoin's UBI initiative.

DJ Deadly Buda and Musicoin founder Isaac Mao talk UBI!

Thanks i'll check it out.

Nice. I remembered it from when you included it in a Xmas post last year, and enjoyed it all over again!
