DTUBE - Can We Have A Rational Conversation About The Las Vegas Shooting?

Nope! The contradiction is definitely there, either the words of your god can be corrupted OR they can not be corrupted. If the words of your god can be corrupted then what is written in that verse is not true. If the words of your god can not be corrupted then you should believe the bible and every word written in it. Unless of course what you are getting at with your Alex/Peter comparison is that your god is NOT the same God spoken of in the Bible. Is that what you mean?

No, that's clearly not what I mean. I have given the example of "man " in which man means a particular man, not the man-kind or entire human race.

In the same way "the word of God" that the Quranic verse is about, is pointing specifically at the final word of God, which is Quraan, which it is claiming to be perfect.

It is an understood fact, that we know through Quraan and also through other historical accounts that the Bible and the Torah and teachings of the earlier Prophets (which were originally the true teaching from God) were manipulated by people, i.e. corrupted.

So you're saying some words of Allah can be corrupted? Is that right?
