2 Games of Go

in dtube •  6 years ago

Hey!

On Saturday I played two games of Go on the Pandanet server. Here's and edited version of the stream I hosted on Vimm.tv!

If you want to learn to play Go, please head on to the Online-Go (OGS) and create an account. There you'll learn the basics and can find other beginners to play with.

You can also join the OGS Steem group and find other Steemians who play the game. If you are an advanced player and want to become an admin, please contact me.

Also...

The server where I played these games, is called IGS or Pandanet, and it has its own client app GoPanda 2 for playing, so you might want to try that too. On this video I used the Open Source go client called qGo (available on most Linux distros).

I hope you try this game out. It is a really fun, and captivating game, and I've made many friends playing it. I really recommend this to anyone who's even a little bit interested in these kinds of board games.

Oh, one thing about the video; for some odd reason D.Tube failed to create lower resolution copies of it, so there's only a 1080p (HD) version available. If your internet connection is slow, you might want to right-click on the video and save it as a local file for later watching.

I hope you like the video! :)

Simple rules:

Great video and the game is the same interesting, I think many will like it

You make me want to come back to studying GO again and beat you there and then laugh evilly muhoahaha!

Haha! Please do! :)

The game pandanet. Is it a new game that has just been released or it has been a while that has been release?

Pandanet is one of the oldest Go servers of the Internet.

Oh okay. Because the name sounds new to me

Hi Jaro, Just wanted to let you know that @dustsweeper is now returning a profit to new users delegating to Dustsweeper. It is a way to invest in Dusty and hopefully it will reduce the need for us to rent SP on the Minnowbooster market.

As you are one of the cool Steemians who delegated for free to Dusty I wanted to let you know.
If you want to activate the rewards you can just push a new delegation to the blockchain. You don't need to change the value, just the transaction is needed so the bot can pick it up. Or you can let me know and I can do it manually. :)

Here is the announcement post:

Hey, thanks for the heads up. That's a nice development, I'll see what I can do about the delegation.
