Trump is a very tough man who is full of ego and pride. He would rather resign than have himself face the shame of an impeachment.

    That is exactly why I think it is more likely he'd resign, although I'm not saying either is likely

    Really? I think he is more of a man who will fight until the end if an impeachment process would start. He will probably try to start protests among his voters and create chaos.
