Went to a protected marine sanctuary for the long weekend, it was a blast. the place is isolated and there was only a few souls around (16 when we get there). There's an island 20 meters or so from the shore line, its actually a rock (granite?) protruding more than 30 or 40 feet above the water over grown with vegetation and trees. the place is so serene and peaceful. all you have to bring is a tent and a hammock to really enjoy the place, you can go snorkling and surfing too, waves are not big thou. i hope the locals snd visitors can keep the place protected and keep it that way. if you want to visit the place its in Municipality of Bayabas, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. please keep it clean.
