For some time, there have been Doomsayers here online, who've made a lot of money (Google Adsense) pushing the idea that the future will be some dystopia, that looks like "Mad Max", or "The Book of Eli" where people are killing each other so that they can eat the other person's flesh. I see a different future!!! Sure, Centralized power has long mis-managed it's mandate. As the old saying goes, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely". greed, and the lust for more power have become the basis for how things are done. This is ALL COLLAPSING, under it's own weight. The systems that are in place, are failing.
New Technologies, will soon change the very building blocks of how Society operates. True power only comes from the necessity of "Intermediaries." These technologies will make intermediaries irrelevant. Central clearing houses, are where power is congregated, and soon there will be no need for centralized clearing houses. All that is left is coercion!!! The "Powers" have been trying to control the use of a plant for decades! It's "Reefer Madness"!!! There have been outright lies about it's medicinal properties, It will create crime, it's a Gateway" to more dangerous things!!! We'll beat you up, and lock you way for having a small amount of it in your possession. There will be a new wave of violence against this plant very soon, yet it's still a tsunami that can't be stopped!!!! I live in a very rural area, yet I know many people who will freely tell you that they use this plant.
These new technologies will face the same kind of opposition, but they will flourish anyhow.
No ----- We AREN'T GONG TO FACE A MAD MAX WORLD IN THE FUTURE!!!! We ARE going to see difficult times. You won't have to hide in a hole in the ground, and shoot your neighbor in the face over a hand full of rice, but people will suffer. What people WILL do is become more cooperative, teaching, and helping each other where they are able. This video shows one of the ways my Wife and I are hoping to engage in that process!!!
