Money From Old Rope?

I have been performing this rope routine for many years. It is my own creation and a very technical routine. This was an intimate little gathering of around twenty folk, in a small, but very welcoming and cute venue, called The Tea Chest, in Buxton. I have to apologise, on behalf of the camera work, but was a friend filming, who was just helping out and filming was an afterthought. Also, this was performed as a mime act, rather than use one of the various patters I have for this effect. The beginning of this effect is missing, but actually starts with the ropes on the table, with a note in front of them, saying, "DO NOT TOUCH".

This is why I am looking around and acting suspiciously. The music was added afterwards and is a poor attempt, I know, but I only do these things to make those more proficient look even better :). I added the music because I didn't feel that the mime had worked, considering the start was missing.

I do have a six part video on YouTube, of a competition that I entered. It was the only video I uploaded to YouTube, and at the time was the easiest method for me, to get it from tape to online. The final part (part six) of these, contains my rope routine performed to 'Comptine D'un Autre Ete' and YouTube have muted it. I aim to have the tapes transposed to files online so that I can share them here as well.

I am going to try to upload these videos today, but in the meantime, I hopee that you like this and remember, this is original magic. I performed as Gary Williams, but now perform as Gaz Butcher, but only changed names, because it suited me better. I have lectured at many magic circles, arounf the country and ran a business selling magic effects, so I can genuinely help you, if you need a hand, second opinion, advice, constructive criticism, honesty and plenty of 'tricks' of the trade (see what I did there? :) ).
