Define processed. Heating a tomato for example, is a process. By heating it, the lycopen will be more bioavailable, and in that case processing is positive. I understand what you mean, but the world is not black or white. Sometime food processing is good and sometimes not.

I think with processed food we were referring to packaged food, like the not naturally found in nature but manufactured, like for example fish fingers or pop tarts :)

Yeah I understood what you meant. I just reacted to the word "processed". Everything but rawfood is more or less processed :)
Pop tarts or deep fried foods are of course not healthy.
