My 2 Months On Dtube!/My Hopes & My Fears/ Constantly Improving Is Key/ Having Every Creator Get Noticed | Vlog 84

What's up dtube! Quick life updates:

I'm finally back in Bangkok. I have 4 more days until I fly out to Europe :) Now till then, I plan on resting up and relaxing. I'm still recovering from a sickness. I still have some stomach pain that I can't explain.

Today, I wanted to do a quick video about...

My 2 Full Months On Dtube ... I have to first start off by saying I'm super blessed and grateful :)

I wanted to share some of my hopes and fears of what this platform can do and areas I think it can improve on. My current fear is the upvotes go to the same creators. I'm sure there's stats on this somewhere. I understand where this logic comes from. You're trying to get the best creators to stay on and continue to create.

But what about the new people who are joining every day?

My hope is this:

As dtube continues to bless many creators with upvotes, I also see a trend of those same creators leading the charge to bring everyone else up. And for that, I'm super pumped.

Dtube thank you. This platform is young.

And you guys are killing it :)

Final Thoughts:

Grateful :)

Hope you feel better soon there brother! Travel sickness can really stick around with you for ages. I remember one time in a week I got a bug that was going around my guesthouse, then got a sinus infection, and finally topped both of those off with the flu. Crazy week but I digress.

What you speak about here is a problem all of us at some point face. I have only been on the platform less than two weeks and I myself fall into the trap of almost needing that validation from a large upvote. I think this is where the strength of community will come into play especially as the platform grows over time. Anyway thank you for sharing your thoughts and hope your digestion got a bit better after you signed off. Cheers!

hey @maslowmission :) I'm currently in a cold air-conditioned room trying to regain my health haha. Just keeps going up and down...

But anyway, yes I agree. I've been super reflective in my journey and how I want to push out my message. And mental health is number 1 for me. I think thats why having strong communities will win out in the long run :)

I still see the upvotes which come directly from DTube as a "nice to have" which I do appreciate but I'm not creating for their upvotes which would also be pointless by the way.
Of course they seem to have their favorite creators which get more DTube love and there may be some newcomers who are also creating great content and don't get any DTube love.
I would also like to see some more support for them to motivate them stay and create exclusively for this platform but we don't have it in our hands.
Everything we can do is keep pushing, create with passion and improve every day to build our own community of followers.
It's hard but nobody said it will be easy. There might just be that prejudice that it's much easier on DTube than on YouTube.

Love it !!!!!

Interesting to hear your thoughts about this, I think you bring up a vital point here. Wish you all the best!

oh man sorry to hear that You have been feeling sick! I wish You feel better soon :D

Well that is something that have a lot to be talked about but at the same time it is not really worth to talk.

I see that the best thing to do is to create. Help the community grow and the creators help each other no matter getting the vote or not... because it is not public the way they select the content or the creators that get more and bigger upvotes.

And keep working on building a following that really appreciate the content You create and will be with You in the long run supporting what You upload.

Man, it's been a few days now. I hope you're feelin' better brotha!
