I haven't played Black Desert but it looks awesome!
However, I've heard tons of people talking about this being paid to win... And I really don't like those games.

Haven't heard about that nor experienced it yet, might be too early in the game to know.
But yeah, if paying for items increases the probability of you winning in fights then it's not really a game I wanna play either... hope it's just skins.

Yeah, I don't mind if people want to pay for appearance... But if you pay to get better items or advantages like that, it's boring and not a game I would want to play.

I used to play it in Beta and upon release. It had so much potential, but they failed to stop cheaters (russian and serbians especially) and chinese bots, resulting in prices going so much over all roof, it became close to unplayable. it is a money grinding, pay to win, but even more a pay to be able to enjoy the fun parts at all. rest of it, you'll be fishing or chopping wood for hours of realtime.
