Like the Roman Empire, Dtube should learn from everyone to improve it's platform. In my opinion, the following is a list of desired features Dtube would benefit from.
#1. View count on thumbnail
At a glance, I'd like to see number of views
#2. Not interested, don't show this channel.
Browsing trending videos, I kept seeing the same crap from a particular channel I have no interest in viewing. Blocking that channel's content would be nice.
#3. VidIQ tools for Dtube.
As everyone knows, YouTube is very competitive. Large channels are leveraging all kinds of fancy tools to gain and convert traffic into revenue. Because triggering the commerce clause is the IRS Gspot.
#4. Dtube app
That may vastly improve adoption, retention, speed, ease of use, user experience, etc...
#5. Steemit Store
There's no fun in earning crypto unless you can spend it. Gives new meaning to "I sold my soul to the company store", but I digress. People need stuff to live, so why have an uneccessary middleman take a piece of the transaction? Will work for food? You sure can.
