Exploring a bit of Cuenca, Ecuador

in dtube •  5 years ago  (edited)

This is a fascinating town nestled up in the mountains. As per usual in this part of the world. It is peppered with more churches than you can point a stick at.

I will be here for the next few months and exploring as much of the region as I can.

I hope you will enjoy the up and coming videos and blogs.

Have a great weekend,

For the next few months? Wow, so you just relocated to Ecuador? I was very close to visiting Ecuador for my last visa run from Mexico but eventually, we decided to go to Colombia (which turned out to be an awesome choice too).

Anyway, enjoy your stay down there mate :)

I was very close to heading to Colombia, but I heard many good things about Cuenca. Plus it was less than a day traveling by bus to get here. I am super tempted to head to colombia at one point. I will have to see.

How is Mexico?

I am currently back to my Czech homeland but Mexico is a great destination for nomads/expats. Affordable, so many things to see and do, delicious cuisine, warm Caribbean and sunny weather all year round, 180 day tourist visa... what else can one ask for? :)

Oh nice, one day I will make it to Mexico. Just need Steem to go up some more in $ terms :)
