A visit to Singapore most famous chinese temple 四马路观音堂

It was a fruitful day today, I want to show you a famous temple in Singapore.
This is my second visit to Kwan Im temple, first time was with my mother and we did our prayer (Bai Bai).

This time I passed by and took this video. You can see there is an Indian temple just beside the Chinese temple.

This showed that different culture or races can live peacefully in the same country.

Here are some intro of the temple from wikipedia
Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple is a traditional Chinese temple situated at Waterloo Street in Singapore. The temple is of significance to the Chinese in Singapore, and is believed to bring good luck after praying to the Kuan Yin or the Goddess of Mercy. The temple is also involved in charity work, contributing to several health and educational organisations.

今天想带大家看看新加坡非常出名在四马路的观音庙。这是我第二次来，第一次和我妈一起来，我们也有进去拜拜。今天刚好去上课经过这儿，就来拍拍视屏让大家看看。里面是不能拍照的所以没办法让大家看。新年期间非常的热闹。除了观音庙，隔壁也有印度庙。这也证明了新加坡多元种族也可以和睦相处。那里很多人卖花和香供奉。也有四面佛，福禄寿，财神爷。善心人都有捐款许愿求签什么的，非常热闹。

观音堂还有一个很特别的日子，既每年农历正月二十六大开“财库”和“富房”，让善男信女借红包与还红包。借出的红包每个只是象征性放一角钱。而到了隔年同日，借红包的人都会加倍奉还。借红包的人主要是希望讨个财运，但也人是为了讨个吉祥与平安。到观音堂莫拜只能用小香，不能用大香。
