Not sure where your garden is located but your Zucchini needs more fertilizer. Plant it on top of a big pile of compost for example.

Thanks a lot for the tip! I will definitely work more with composted material, straw and minerals next year since the gardening season is coming to and end and I am going to focus more on fighting against the herbs growing everywhere for the rest of the year.
My garden is located in northern Germany so it is already late summer now.
Thanks again for your Tipp! I will remember your words next season!
Peace!

All the green material will be very good for your compost. If you have enough material then you can create new garden beds by creating a kind of mix of thick mulch and compost (even on top of grass) to save you a lot of work. That's how i usually do it. You just make a nice long compost pile in autumn where your new garden bed will be. In spring you flatten it out and you are done. A big enough layer of compost will kill off most unwanted herbs. There is a lot of guides how to create new garden beds without tiling. Very good for your back. ;-)

Yeah good point my friend! But o got a lot of not wanted plants and seeds in there.. hmm. Should I really just try to kill those with a thick layer of compost? Sounds too easy for me haha
Thanks for the suggestions! I feel new energy in my gardening heart :)
Peace!

You put recycable material like clean cardboard on top of it and then put compost over it. This kills off the "bad stuff" as it won't get light and dies off.
