Ok. I don't know what is wrong with our parrots, but I don't think this is normal. First of all, I think people have birds so that they can enjoy them and listen to them sing etc.
This is how our birds are. They sing so nice (sometimes) but most of the time they fight and scream.
The weird thing is that they always fight when you or anyone gets close to them. This is the time they always fight. And no matter if they know you or love you, they will always try to bite anyone who gets close to them. They will even try to bite when you give them food.
Most people say that they fight because they are both males, but my mother-in-law (these are her birds) says that one is a boy and one is female and it looks like they are a pair because they always seem to be kissing and loving each other, but like I said every time you get close to them, they fight, just like in the video.
Another funny thing is that our dog Layla is a bird (any bird killer, like chickens, ducks any kind of feathered animal) killer. She has killed so many birds in our backyard and that is why we have to have our chickens closed and fenced because Layla will kill them all.
But for some reason, she is afraid of those birds. (I let the birds out of the cage so that they can fly away and be free because I believe that birds have wings for a reason and they should be in the wild. They should be flying and enjoying their freedom, but our birds do not want to fly away. Maybe one day they will.
So when the birds are walking on the grass and just out of the cage, Layla will try to get the birds, but she is afraid of them because they fight back. It is the strangest thing ever because Layla is a big, bird killing dog that can just grab and kill these birds by not even trying, but she is afraid of them and so instead she will just bark at them.
I guess size doesn't matter. You can be very powerful even when you are as tiny as those birds.
I would like to use this as my entry for the cool
#FeatheredFriday created by the wonderful
@melinda010100 and also I think it would be a good entry for the
#FreedomFriday (which I think is very cool, since we are supposed to live a free life and enjoy your life) created by
@eaglespirit. I know this post doesn't really talk about our freedom, but I have been trying to send these birds free for a while now and they are still attached to the cage, but one day, I know they will feel comfortable enough to just fly into their freedom.
Hope you enjoyed the short video of our noisy birds and wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Love
@joalvarez.

Oh my! They certainly create a ruckus! You need a good bird psychiatrist. They are beautiful birds.

I know. Crazy.
Everyone that sees them do that they say that they are both males because males fight a lot.
